Don't buy this chair.
This chair has locking wheels, but good luck trying to lock them! As it turns out, this chair is totally useless for me, because I cannot lock the wheels so I can safely arise from the chair and transfer to my wheelchair. I should have known from the price point it wouldn't work out. Both my wife and myself tried to lock the wheels, to no avail. Avoid at all costs!

We use this chair to transport my mom into a roll-in shower.
She weighs about 220 and the chair is very stable and easy to
roll even with this weight.
The brakes on the chair are difficult to push down to engage
and the chair sits fairly low when the chair part is taken off to
use the commode. These would be my only comments to consider
when purchasing this chair.
Otherwise we are extremely pleased with the chair.
