Thin chrome escutcheon?
After installing this faucet on my stainless steel sink, I noticed two small protruding dents at each side of the base of the faucet spout in the chrome escutcheon. The dents probably come from the brass piping of the faucet assembly as a result of tightening down the faucet. The chrome escutcheon base of the faucet is very thin and maybe too thin. If I was a plumber I would not appreciate these two dents occuring and neither would most customers. I also don't like the fact that you have to trim the deck/escutcheon gasket around the perimeter of the escutcheon with a razor knife. Every faucet I have installed in the past has had a gasket that is the same size as the faucet escutcheon.
